CEHS Instrumental Music Banquet 2011-12

Instrumental Banquet information....check the attached flyer below.

If you are the parent of a freshman or you just have never been to the banquet, you should know that this is a great event where everyone enjoys themselves.  Every student is recognized, some receive awards, there are some student presentations, Senior Slide show, a video yearbook, a dance and some really amazingly delicious food.  The boy scout troop from Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Clovis is in attendance to serve us our food, setup and clean up. Our only desire for this evening is for everyone to have fun, reflect on the great year and honor our beloved Senior Class.

This event is also a celebration for our parents and the hard work they have put into making this year great for our students!

The cost for this event is $25 per person (student or adult) but I want to assure you that every dime that is brought in goes toward the event.  This is not a fund-raiser by any stretch.......the more money that is brought in, the more money is spent on making things even nicer. Money is due by Tuesday, May 15, 2012.

Attached you will find the flyer for this event......again, I hope to see every Orchestra, Band, Color Guard, Jazz and Percussion student/family at this event.

Rodeo Parade Information/Itinerary

Well, it is that time of year again!  Rodeo Time!!!!!  That means we have the Rodeo parade.  This has been on the calendar since the end of last year so I am sure it is no surprise to anyone.  I think what everyone is waiting for is the times......well, I still don't have those times.  I have been waiting for this information and still have yet to receive it.  I am hopeful that I will have that information soon.  What I can tell you is that our rehearsal after school on Thursday, April 26 will end by 4:00 PM.  

Saturday, April 28 - Itinerary

8:15 AM - Arrive to CEHS Band Room

8:45 AM - Depart for Downtown Clovis

9:00 AM - Arrive in Downtown Clovis

9:30 AM - Parade Begins - We are in Division 3 so our step off time might be between 10:00 AM and 10:15 AM.

11:15 AM - Approximate end time for our parade route.

11:30 AM - Depart Downtown for CEHS

11:45 AM - Arrive at CEHS and eat lunch with the Reyburn Intermediate Students

12:30 PM - All students dismissed

Attire - Blue jeans, tennis shoes, a plain white t-shirt and a school colored handkerchief around their neck (optional).  We will provide every student with a Cowboy hat!  YEE HAW!!!
